Wow! It's been a long, long, time...(name the song, sara)

OK, all of these pictures are kind of blurry....I am having issues with my pictures, not sure what the deal is...oh well. Hi all!! We are alive! We had a fun but crazy holiday season, and I can't believe Feb. is almost over. Here is a short, update on our family....

We just had a fun presidents day trip to visit Sara and Neil in Henderson, NV. We went to the Hoover Dam, had a picnic by Lake Mead, played at a fun park, watched the airplanes land right in front of our faces, went on a fun valentines double date, ending with peanut butter cheesecake from the cheesecake factory, seeing Sara and Neil's lot and the model home, going to church, eating valentines pizzas, going to valley of fire and seeing family and cousins!! It was a lot of fun and we appreciated Sara and Neil letting us invade their space for a weekend!

Here is Randy in a swing for the first time! He loved it. He is 8 months old and is currently getting tooth number 3 and 4 (at the same time and they are being stubborn!) He has also started to crawl this month.....which is very, very early for my babies! this week he climbed/fell into the bathtub(no water thank heavens, but a big goose egg). SCARY!! He is also being my little vacuum cleaner.....and has choked a few times....life has definitely gotten busier since this new development, but he is so smiley and fun!!

Robbie got glasses!! He had been telling me for a while that his eyes hurt, or were blurry. He is still getting used to them, and doesn't think they are quite as fun a they were at the beginning, but he and Sara played harry potter last week and he loved that he fit the part. We think they make him look handsome and smart!

Evie potty trained herself! She truly refused to wear diapers a week before Christmas! Not the best timing, but she is doing so great!! I am so grateful it was a smooth and fast process. (by the way, she is sitting on top of the toilet seat for this picture, in case you were wondering!)

Sara got to go to a fun "Sock Hop" on Valentines day for all the 2nd graders. They had been learning dances such as: YMCA, boot scoot boogie, bunny hop, the twist, and so many more! Her friend, who is a year older, lent her the outfit, and it was so fun!!! I snuck in and took some pictures and thought it was the best party!!! Way to go Teachers, Thanks!
P.S. for those of you who follow Sara's blog, the story about Jeff at hoover dam goes like this: We were going to go inside the museum, and had to go through major security to get inside (like an airport), and Jeff realized that he had his leatherman on his key chain. Well, of course they are not going to let that through, and he wasn't going to loose it. So, he told the guard he would go hide it somewhere. They said no, it needs to go back to your car. Well, we had parked a LONG way away, and Jeff is still limping from his Achilles injury in Oct. so he went to hide it anyway. He came back down and the guard said our camera's found where you hid that, and our guys are getting it right now. meanwhile we are all through the security, and not sure what is going on....we just know Jeff is going in and out a lot... He eventually got far enough away, that he could hide it safety and made it back to us..... What Drama!! Jeff wasn't to thrilled with the guards and vise versa! on another note, he has actually hid this same leatherman many times at the airport.......

Sounds like a fun trip! I can totally imagine the guard fiasco. Wish we could see little Randy getting so big and Robbie does look so HANDSOME in his glasses. I love them!

Robbie looks so cute in his glasses! I can't wait to see everyone! I wish this weekend would come sooner, except for the fact that I have 3 more papers to write before then!
