2nd grade zoo field trip

I went with Sara on her zoo field trip. We had 4 in our group. The
teacher put one of the most dificult boys in our group because Sara is
kind to him and good influence. He sits by her so she can help him.
It was fun.

Cute boy!

I thought I would hurry and replace that last picture! Still waiting!

Ward sandbox party

We had a movie night ward party in our backyard. We watched a fun
movie but the big sandbox was as much fun as the movie.

Aunt Rach shows the kids how it's done

Rachel came to visit and showed the kids her tricks on the trampoline.

Randy getting tubes in his ears

Randy is getting tubes in his ears today. He didn't get any breakfast
this morning so he is pretty grumpy. Hopefully it will be quick. Becky
thinks his hospital jammies look cute.
The tube should clean out his ears and help him not have so many ear
infections. It should improve his hearing too.

A Fun Weekend!

We were so lucky to spend some time with our Brown cousins this last weekend! We had a ward movie night in our yard on friday night, and the kids got to all sleep in a tent in our backyard for 2 nights (thanks jeff!). On Saturday we spent the day at the zoo and had a great time!

Evie at the playground

Sara at the lion fountain (gotta get one of these everytime!)

Robbie riding his wolf on the merry go round!

Isn't this picture cool! It is a bald eagle at the bird show. It was amazing! I highly recommend it!

All the crew in front of the giraffes!
Wish I took more pictures everyone! It was so good to see you all!

Trees and outdoor fun

It was sooooo nice to see blue sky today! We spent some time outside today, finally!

Sara and Robbie climbing out tree in the back.....yes, Sara is wearing cowboy boots (it is cowboy day tomorrow at school, and she was trying them out!), and Robbie is super high up in our tree (he goes this high often, and neighbor kids have been known to come and find me, because they were worried about him....YIKES!)

Evie just looking cute. She has her hair in buns because I told her if she let me put buns in, she wouldn't have to get her hair washed tomorrow.....I'd say that works for both of us!!

So, Randy currently has a really, really bad diaper rash from taking mega duty antibiotics for a double ear infection. He cried all of last night, and today has been rough...so I decided after dinner I would let him go "free" and air out a little.....! He was so cute, I was trying to take some pics, but he kept trying to grab the camera! (notice the tear on his cheek. That was from changing his diaper about 5 min. before.)

oh, the snow....

So, there has been a lot of hype about the nice spring snowstorm today....CRAZY!!! It wasn't just that my kids had to put their winter coats back on, or that my newly planted garden and flowers got a nice thick cover of snow this morning, I was dealing with all of that ok, but when I went outside and found this....

....I got frustrated! The snow was so heavy, it broke this nice branch that was supposed to be the shade for our new sandbox this summer.....
Thank goodness no one was in it when it happened!
On a better note, Sara introduced Randy to his first sandbox experience today, and he loved it!!

Have a great day!

Evie's Birthday

Evie's birthday was last week! How fun to have a three year old again! She has been saying she was 3 for about 6 months, so we are glad she finally made it! We have a few birthday traditions in our house. First we (meaning I) decorate with balloons and crape paper. Then we (again I!!) hang up birthday signs. On the morning of their birthday, we wake the person up singing happy birthday and then they have a treasure hunt of their presents.

Here is one of the hiding spots. Other examples are dryer, under beds, drawers, outside....etc.. It makes the present opening so much fun!

Here she is with one of her presents. I made 2 doll blankets, 2 doll pillows and 2 doll mattresses, to go in her new doll bunk bed she got for Christmas.

Her new scooter. She has loved going around the house and circle on this!

When I asked Evie what kind of cake she wanted she said "PINK"!! So here is a pink lemonade birthday cake.

We had a fun birthday dinner, and G & G Wilde were able to come and join us! What fun!
We love you Evie!!
