We celebrated Robbie's 6th birthday! We had a Star Wars themed friend party the day before his b-day, then had a family BBQ on his actual birthday! Highlights of the star wars party: Jeff speaking Jedi-ese to the kids, learning how to use the force, taking 20 min. to break the star pinata, and of course, the light saber (or as Robbie says the light saver) battle!! Very fun!
We also had a baby shower for my sister Sara that day! Busy, busy day!
We celebrated Sara's 8th birthday! We had a family dinner and then a "late night" Hannah Montana party with her friends! Highlights of the evening: all the girls painting each others fingernails, dipping pretzels in chocolate, learning the line dance from Hannah Montana the movie and then jumping up and doing it while we watched the show, and finally, all the girls sitting up and singing their hearts out when Mily started singing "The Climb!!!" I wish I had the video camera ready, that's all I can say!
Sara's piano recital! She did so great! We went out for ice cream after! What a fun tradition.
Evie's first dentist appt. She opened her mouth up so wide and let the assistant completely clean her teeth. Of course when the dentist came in she completely clammed up......oh well, next time!!
We just had fall break, and didn't go anywhere this year, but decided to go to the Bingham copper mine. This is a picture of the kids in front of one of the tires off of the HUGE dirt moving trucks they use in the mine. Very fascinating!
It has been a crazy couple of weeks!
