We decided to name him Randall Jeffrey after his maternal grandfather. Becky thinks that they look alike, both look wrinkly and skinny. He was born yesterday 6/3/09 at 10:23 AM. He weighed 6 '8 and was 20 inches long. We ended up going to Alta View to deliver him. When the first strong contractions started the placenta tore away a bit and there was excessive bleeding so we were told to just go to the nearest hospital. Once there the beading stopped though. We got to Alta View at 10:30 and he came 12 hours later. It was a rough night with the emergency start. He also managed to swim an over hand knot into is umbilical cord. So he heart rate would drop with every contraction. Eventually he came out though and both he and mom are doing fine. The kids are really excited to have a brother. Robbie is glad that now there are 3 girls and 3 boys in the family. We aren't out numbered any more.
