Thanksgiving Point

These pictures say it all! We had a great time at Thanksgiving point 2 weeks ago. Some of the last days of summer for the year!

What I did all day on Saturday........

....... was can 60 pints of tomatoes!!!!!



All picked from my garden, I might add!!!! Yeah!!!!
I started at 9:00 a.m. and finished processing the last of them at 10:30 p.m. A lot of work, but so worth it!! Yummy!



That meant on Sunday, I was to tired to do these......

Oh what fun awaits me this morning......yuck!

First Day of School!

Wow! What a great day! Everyone was so excited to go to school! It was sad to see them go, and we will miss them, but wow!! I can accomplish so much more w/ just two kids at home!! Evie and Randy and I had a great day too!!

At the temple quarry

We went to the temple quarry and climbed the rocks. The kids want me
to say that they climbed up the steep front and not the easy slope in
the back.

Evie had a problem with her arm she wanted put on the blog.

Robbie's PolyJuice Potion

Robbie wasn't feeling well Sunday morning so he stayed home by himself. We set him up watching the Short Circuit movie from the 80's. When we got home though he had gone into the kitchen and made this potion from Harry Potter. He also took kernels of corn and made is own popcorn in the microwave. He was so proud of it. He used a lot of sugar and ruined all of the flour.

We weren't quite sure what to do with the big batch of potion. Evie tried it and said it didn't taste very good. We ended up digging a hole in the dirt under the trampoline and burrying it. Robbie then planed a weed in the potion so he could see what will happy. Who knows, maybe something magical will happen.
