Little daddy robbie

After Evie and Claires last fight Claire only found comfort with her
buddy Robbie. He was such a good helper. He let her sit on his lap and
fed her bananas and fruit snacks. Then he rocked her on the hammok.

Quote of the day.

Robbie: "uggh, why do you guys always make me do everything?"

Sara: "because we're older."

Robbie: " oh, ok"

Sara's Birthday Party

So today we had Sara's birthday party. We decided to have an outdoor game party, and it was so much fun!

Here are the kids playing "red light, green light".

Taking a water break. We wore them out!

Playing fruit basket

Playing "red rover"

Opening presents. This is after it started raining and we had to come inside sooner than expected. Jeff came up with the great idea to have all the kids hide their presents and see if Sara could find them. They all loved it, and it killed a little time! But before we came in, they also played elbow tag, mother-my-I, and a few more that I am not remembering, but it was a blast!

Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Sara, happy birthday to you!

And I hope that is the last time I have to say that for a while!!!!

Sara is 7!

Ok, so if you have been thinking I am crazy, then yes, you are right! Friday was Robbie's birthday. Saturday and Sunday I went to LA w/ my sisters. Check out Sara's blog to see some great pictures(I didn't take any that I loved). We had a great time! Wednesday, my sister Rachel went to the MTC (again, check out Sara's blog for pics), and now here we are to Thursday, Sara's birthday!

Sara opening a present from her treasure hunt!

Her favorite present, a pair of glittery crocks!

This was a bike birthday year. They both had outgrown their bikes. Again, riding in their jammies.

Sara was so lucky to get to go on an all day field trip to Silver Lake(up big cottonwood canyon) on her birthday. And I was lucky to go along with her. What a fun day!

Sara with her butterfly cake. What a cute 7 year old!

Robbie's Pirate Party!

Grrrrrrr! We heard a lot of pirate talk on the afternoon of Robbie's birthday. We had a fun pirate party with some boys from our neighborhood.

Robbie and his cousin posing for the camera

The two of them participating in the Pirate Games. This one was called "peg leg race".

Here is Rob "walking the plank". We ended up blindfolding them, so it was a little harder.

On the treasure hunt, each of the boys had to prove themselves in order to get the next clue. Sometimes that meant hopping on one foot, or walking backwards. This time they each had to do a trick off the slide.

Here is Robbie with his Pirate face cake. It is hard to see, but he does have stubble on his chin!

Robbie is 5!!!

Robbie is five today! Here are a few pictures from the morning!

Robbie loves muffins. We decided to put a candle in it!

Opening presents from the Treasure Hunt. In our family we hide the presents around the house and leave notes on each present telling where the next one will be.

A set of bristle blocks. This is one of Robbie's favorite toys at Grandma and Grandpa Wilkey's house.

A new bike! Robbie's old bike (the one Sara is riding) was too small! His knees were hitting the handle bars.

Robbie's first day of preschool!

Cute boy!

He is a spider man fan

Doesn't Evie look like she just adores him? She is going to miss him!

Robbie went to preschool yesterday, and was so excited! He wanted to wear this shirt because he calls it his "daddy shirt"! Funny huh?! Well, we are slowly getting busier and busier. Sara started dance, and Robbie starts soccer in a few weeks. Evie's incision is slowly healing. Life is good!!!
